​Sex Work is real work...
and more than that, it's
demanding profession.
​
Sex work requires both emotional & physical labor in service to others, which easily lands sex work among other "helping" professions (think nurses, therapists, chiropractors, teachers, etc).
​
Working in service to others can be rewarding, but repeated & intense interpersonal interactions often come at a personal cost. Excessive job stress often accompany symptoms such as social fatigue, irritability, feeling detached or disconnected from things you normally enjoy to name a few.

This workshop is for sex workers who want to learn more about how to identify on the job triggers and how to learn effective coping strategies and tools.

Sex Work 101
As sex workers are the experts in issues affecting them,
public education workshops will have a co-facilitator with personal experience with sex work.
This is a quick workshop is for those working in solidarity with sex workers. The aim of this workshop is to support individuals in developing and improving their awareness of the issues sex workers face so they can challenge their personal biases and work toward effective ally-ship.
